LUMBAN LAGUNA... CALIRAYA RESORT

DAY - 1 JUNE 15 2013
We left our home at around 7AM. And since we're from Antipolo City, we traversed at Rizal Province to the first District of Laguna. (traveled by car)
Our first stopover, at the San Sebastian Parish Church, Famy Laguna.
Had some Refreshment...
At Famy Archway...
Thereafter, we visited St. Peter de Alcantara Parish Church, Pakil Laguna.
The Municipal Hall and Town Plaza...
Next to Pakil... the town of PAETE.
Our palates were craving for something... ... aahh. something healthy... sweet tiny Pineapple...
We continued our journey to KALAYAAN Town.
Across the Municipal Hall... The Plaza Lagumbay.
About 100 - 150 meters you will come across the St. John the Evangelist Parish.
The road located at the West side of the Church will lead you to KALAYAAN TWIN FALLS. (about 500 meters from the church)
The UPPER FALLS which basin was developed and now became a huge swimming pool.

At LUMBAN Town Arch.
Before proceeding to Caliraya Resort we opted to visit first the Town of PAGSANJAN.
Bought some bread at Pagsanjan Bakery. One of their best seller are the Fuding.... taste good!
We visited the ancestral house of Don Porong Ejercito.
It was already past 12NN and we were starving... at that time, the weather was so hot...and craving for something cold and refreshing. Perfectly, we had lunch at the well known Aling Taleng's Halo-Halo. So refreshing... yummmy.....

And now, their specialty... HALO - HALO.... must try.
As we continued our escapade, we visited Pagsanjan Church, then, the Municipal Hall.

And then, to our main destination... at CALIRAYA RESORT CLUB. We arrived at around 140PM
At the Resort....
Indeed a tiring day for us doing those activities... but...so cool... really loved it.
Payback time, to replenish the energy consumed in doing those obstacle courses.
After that heavy dinner... time to burn it out again...

We were so exhausted but so worth it... we really enjoyed our first day.... Time to rest for the next day's adventure.
DAY - 2 JUNE 16 2013
Woke up early for Breakfast.
While resting after breakfast... We took the pleasure of the nature.
And now... We were ready for another Adventure...
Sadly, it was time for us to prepare for check out... But before that... eating time again... Lunch time Yahoooo...
Then... Checked Out Time...
Oooopsss.. Care to buy Plants that bear a beautiful flowers that looks like an artificial one.
HOW TO GET THERE:
Option 1
1. From Manila take SLEX and exit at Calamba Toll gate.
2. Turn Rigth at the Calamba crossing and go straight ahead, passing the towns of Los Banos, Bay, Victoria, Pila, Sta. Cruz, and Pagsanjan.
3. After passing at Pagsanjan Archway, turn left at the end of the road leading to the Pagsanjan Church.
4. That road are headed to Lumban, then you will pass a bridge.
5. Approaching Bgy. Hall, turn left to road going to Paete. A few meters away you will see a Y road.
6. At that Y road, take the right wing, the road going up the hill, just follow the road straight.
7. You will see the Caliraya Resort Club parking space at your left. (about 2-3KM)
Option 2
1. From Manila traversed at Rizal Province, passing Antipolo City, towns of Teresa, Morong, Baras, Tanay, Jala-Jala, Pililia.
2. As you reached the first district of Laguna, you will pass at the towns of Famy, Siniloan, Pakil, Paete, Kalayaan, then Lumban.
3. At Lumban, go straight until you reached the Y road, turn left to the road going uphill.
4. About 2-3KM you will see the Caliraya parking lot at your left.
For commuters...
1. You can take the HM Bus at Edsa Cubao besides Victory Liner.
2. Alight at the Sta. Cruz Terminal.
3. You can take jeepney bound to Pagsanjan, Lumban, Kalayaan, and Lumban.(going to your destination).
4. Not sure how you can get to Caliraya, may be a Tricycle from Lumban Proper for a special trip.
